Lukasz Piszczek (6.5/10)

Making his 250th Bundesliga appearance for Borussia Dortmund, Piszczek was solid for the majority of the game, and defended really well once again. The only time he should have done better was when he let Skrzybski escape towards the end, allowing him to nearly win the game for Fortuna Düsseldorf.

Mats Hummels (7.5/10)

Hummels put in yet another dominant defensive display for Borussia Dortmund. He largely kept the Fortuna Düsseldorf forwards at bay, winning the majority of his duels, making five tackles, four interceptions and two clearances. His passing and build-up play were once again very accurate.

Manuel Akanji (7/10)

Akanji made up for some of his wayward decision making with the ball at his feet with an excellent cross for Erling Haaland’s goal in the 95th minute. He was solid and confident defensively, making some important recoveries and tackles for his side.
