Achraf Hakimi (5.5/10)

Hakimi had an excellent chance to give Borussia Dortmund the lead when he was played through on goal in the 17th minute. But he failed to find his composure, and the goalkeeper was able to save his shot with relative ease. He wasn’t as involved or effective today in the attacking play as he usually is.

Emre Can (6.5/10)

Returning to his defensive midfield role, Can was once again full of drive and determination. He was always looking to win the ball back quickly, and was very aggressive, yet composed on the ball throughout the 90 minutes.

Axel Witsel (5.5/10)

It was an inconspicuous performance by Witsel, who completed 95% of his passes, but wasn’t able to add an attacking threat from midfield, as he so often does. His distribution play was solid, but the majority of his passes were either sideways or backwards. He was replaced by the match-winner Haaland in the 60th minute.

Raphael Guerreiro (6/10)

Guerreiro showed great technique with his goal, which was controversially ruled out by the referee. Like Hakimi, he wasn’t involved in the attacking play as much as he usually is, but he still showed some great flashes of his skill and class.
