Borussia Dortmund host relegation threatened Mainz on Wednesday, looking to continue their impressive run of form.

Borussia Dortmund are coming off a nervy 1-0 win against Fortuna Düsseldorf on Saturday and will look to continue to pick up the wins as they play 15th place Mainz 05. The Black and Yellows were far from their best in their last outing and that combined with current injuries could see some rotation from Lucien Favre on Wednesday.

Borussia Dortmund will again be without Marco Reus, Dan-Axel Zagadou and Mahmoud Dahoud. Although Reus is back in team training, it’s unlikely he’s going to play much of a role for the remainder of the season. Gio Reyna is out as well, after showing flu-like symptoms at the weekend.

Here we will take a look at how Borussia Dortmund could line up.

Goalkeeper: Roman Bürki

Roman Bürki will take his usual spot in goal in this one. As long as he is fit, he will be Dortmund’s number one and will be for years to come after both he and his contract extension should be confirmed soon as well.
