Defence: Lukasz Piszczek, Mats Hummels, Manuel Akanji

Hopefully we see some rotation in this starting XI, but with Lucien Favre it’s hard to guess when that’s going to happen. Piszczek is getting up there in age and although he has been in great form, with Leipzig coming up on the weekend he can be afforded some rest. Should he be rested, one option could be Balerdi in his natural centre back role.

The other two aren’t likely to be rested either, Mats Hummels and Manuel Akanji will both be starting in Dortmund’s defence. Akanji has been solid since the restart, and looks more comfortable than he did in the first half of the season. Hopefully he can continue his run of form to end the season.
