Schmelzer slotted in at left back after replacing Lukasz Piszczek, and he hardly put a foot wrong. He had a decent half chance to bring Borussia Dortmund back in the game, but his shot was inadvertently blocked by Axel Witsel.

Morey made a couple of sloppy errors in his 13 minute cameo, but will be hoping for his first start for Borussia Dortmund this weekend, with Achraf Hakimi suspended.
