The last time these two sides met was back in December, when we were served a six-goal thriller in what was arguably one of the most topsy turvy games of the season.
Goals from Julian Weigl and Julian Brandt had Borussia Dortmund two ahead at the break, after an excellent start. But two quickfire goals from Timo Werner soon had Leipzig level, with the Black and Yellows’ defence faltering under pressure.

Jadon Sancho restored the lead for Lucien Favre’s men, scoring for the seventh consecutive game, but Patrik Schick’s equaliser 12 minutes before time meant both sides had to settle for a share of the spoils, as the game ended in a 3-3 draw.
