Midfield: Mateu Morey, Axel Witsel, Julian Brandt, Raphael Guerreiro

With Emre Can set to be shifted into defence and Mahmoud Dahoud out for the remainder of the season, Lucien Favre doesn’t have too many experienced options in the middle of midfield. Axel Witsel and Julian Brandt will be taking up the two central midfield spots, and will be looking to rekindle their impressive partnership from earlier in the season.

Mateu Morey is set to make his first start in professional football, as he will be playing at right back in place of the suspended Achraf Hakimi. The Spaniard has done well in his cameo appearances so far, and deserves a chance to show just what he is capable of.

Raphael Guerreiro will line up on the opposite flank as the wing-back, looking to continue his impressive run since the restart.
