Erling Haaland scored twice to give Borussia Dortmund a well deserved win over RB Leipzig, and secure a second place finish in the Bundesliga standings.

Borussia Dortmund were the better side for the majority of the game, and deservedly took the lead at the half hour mark through Erling Haaland. The Black and Yellows had a number of decent chances to double their lead, but were let down by poor finishing and good goalkeeping by the inspired Péter Gulácsi.

Haaland finally managed to Gulácsi for the second time in the afternoon with the final kick of the game to double Borussia Dortmund’s lead and seal a relatively comfortable win.

The win helped Lucien Favre’s side take their goal tally to 84 goals, their best ever goalscoring record in a single league campaign.

Here are our player ratings for the Borussia Dortmund players from their 2-0 win over Leipzig.

Roman Bürki (6.5/10)

Bürki had a relatively quiet afternoon, as those in front of him put in a near perfect defensive shift. When he was tested, Bürki stood up to the task to earn his 13th clean sheet of the season in the Bundesliga.
