Thorgan Hazard (6.5/10)

Hazard had a rough start, but improved as the game went on. He showed great movement and had a couple of decent chances, but failed to cause Péter Gulácsi too many problems. He was asked to help out defensively more often after the break, and he did his job without any mistakes. After Morey’s departure, Hazard switched to the right wing back role in Borussia Dortmund’s back five.

Gio Reyna (7.5/10)

Reyna looked a bit nervous and shaky at the start, but showed great composure and vision to set up Haaland for Dortmund’s opener. He showed glimpses of his quality throughout the game, and Lucien Favre will undoubtedly be pleased with the job he did.

Erling Haaland (8.5/10)

Haaland proved to be the difference maker for Borussia Dortmund once again today with his match winning brace. He was much more involved than in the game against Mainz, and caused the Leipzig defenders all sorts of problems. He showed great composure for the first goal, and excellent commitment for the second.

He’ll be disappointed not to have scored a hat-trick, but it was still a superb display by the Norwegian international.
