Confirmed Borussia Dortmund Lineup vs Hoffenheim: Balerdi, Morey start, Sancho benched again
Borussia Dortmund face Hoffenheim on Saturday in their final game of the Bundesliga campaign. Dortmund already have 2nd place locked up and hopefully we will see some rotation.
Borussia Dortmund will finish their Bundesliga season this weekend as they host Hoffenheim. This could turn into a bit of a dull affair with Dortmund do not have much to play for after securing their second place finish last weekend. Hoffenheim have also made sure of qualification to the Europa League, but will be looking to overtake Wolfsburg and secure a place in the group stage of the competition. This will be a perfect time for Lucien Favre to rotate and give some of the younger players some much needed game experience.
Borussia Dortmund will still be without several players, who are still out or still recovering from injury. Marco Reus, Thomas Delaney, Mahmoud Dahoud, Mario Götze and Manuel Akanji will miss out in this one. Emre Can also misses out through suspension after picking up five yellow cards.
Here’s a look at how Borussia Dortmund will line up.
Goalkeeper: Roman Bürki
Roman Bürki will be back in goal on Saturday. Somewhat surprisingly Dortmund currently lead the Bundesliga in terms clean sheets, which is a testament to Bürki’s work over the season. Bürki is also fresh off signing his new contract extension that will keep him here until 2023.
