Thorgan Hazard (4/10)

Hazard was involved in a couple of Borussia Dortmund’s early openings, but was largely anonymous after Hoffenheim’s opener, before being taken off at half time.

Gio Reyna (4/10)

Getting his second straight start, Reyna struggled against the physicality of the Hoffenheim defenders. He had a few lapses in concentration, and failed to make any difference in Borussia Dortmund’s attacking play before being substituted in the second half.

Erling Haaland (5/10)

Haaland once again cut an isolated figure, as his teammates failed to offer him any decent service. He ended the day having touched the ball just 18 times, and did not register even a single shot.
