Jadon Sancho (4.5/10)
After starting on the bench once again, Sancho replaced Hazard at half time but wasn’t able to cause any problems to the Hoffenheim defence. He tried a few tricks and flicks, but nothing came off for the Englishman.
Achraf Hakimi (4.5/10)
Hakimi came on at half time for his final game in a Borussia Dortmund shirt. But just like the rest of his teammates, he failed to make any impact on the game.
Tobias Raschl (5.5/10)
Raschl came on in the 64th minute for his Borussia Dortmund debut, and was largely solid for the time he spent on the pitch.
Dan Axel Zagadou (6/10)
Zagadou replaced Leonardo Balerdi in the 64th minute, and it didn’t take him long to show his defensive quality. The Frenchman’s excellent composure was on full display as he made a couple of goal saving challenges to prevent his side from suffering further damage.
