Borussia Dortmund want clarity on Jadon Sancho’s future by the start of August, and have informed Manchester United that he will cost 120 million euros.
Jadon Sancho was one of Borussia Dortmund’s top performers this season, and his displays have made him a target for some of Europe’s biggest clubs. However, due to the financial issues caused by the coronavirus pandemic, Manchester United are the only team left in the race for his signature.
According to Ruhr Nachrichten, the BVB bosses have informed the Premier League club that they will only part with the winger for a fixed amount of 120 million euros. That figure is considered to be non-negotiable.
The newspaper adds that even though the transfer window will be open till October this summer, Borussia Dortmund want a decision on Sancho’s future by the start of August. If there are no satisfactory offers by then, the 20 year old will go into the new season with the Black and Yellows.
Despite rumours in England about Sancho’s desire to return to his home country, Ruhr Nachrichten say that Borussia Dortmund have not received any indications that he wants to leave. His father is said to have been in the club’s office in June, and at the moment the player’s position is still very open.
Sancho was Borussia Dortmund’s leading goalscorer this season, having found the net 20 times in all competitions to go along with his 18 assists. He still has two years remaining on his current contract, and Der BVB are under no pressure to sell him this summer.
