4. Julian Brandt vs Leipzig

Julian Brandt’s goal against Leipzig is one of Borussia Dortmund’s most memorable goals of the season. It was a very back and forth game and Brandt goal showing his exceptional ball control was the highlight.

Jadon Sancho played a tight ball into Brandt who took two quick no look touches to slice past Upamecano before smashing the ball home with his left foot past Gulasci. The most impressive part was the first touch which he made perfectly without even looking to see where Upamecano was. You can re-live the exceptional footwork at the 1 minute mark here.

3. Gio Reyna vs Werder Bremen

Gio Reyna’s first professional goal was a sublime effort against Werder Bremen in the cup and it was an absolute pearler by the teenager. Reyna danced around three Bremen defenders before curling a magnificent shot around the fourth and into the top right corner. It was a thing of beauty and helped him announce himself at the club.
