Roman Bürki (6.5/10)

Roman Bürki had a very polarising season among Borussia Dortmund supporters, he seems to be a player fans for the most part either love or hate. On one hand he was dead last among all keepers in saves per game, but on the other end he was second in the League only to Manuel Neuer in terms of clean sheets.

All in all Bürki had a decent but not great season, he was solid enough to keep Dortmund in the hunt for the majority of the season while also leaving something to be desired. He put in a few decent saves here and there, but he also made a couple of high profile errors, such as against Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig.

He isn’t a world class goalie but he is a very solid and capable keeper that can without question have world class moments.

Marwin Hitz (6/10)

Marwin Hitz didn’t feature a ton this season but when he did, he usually got a win. In all competitions including the Supercup this year Hitz featured six times, with four wins, one draw and one loss. He wasn’t relied on too often but when he was, he delivered this season which is all you can ask for from your number 2 goalkeeper.
