Six more players could leave Borussia Dortmund this summer, as they continue their squad planning for next season.
The player most likely to leave Borussia Dortmund this summer is Leonardo Balerdi. The centre-back has been heavily linked with Olympique Marseille in recent weeks. L’Equipe claimed earlier this week that a transfer was imminent. According to Ruhr Nachrichten, while the transfer is not as advanced yet, the French side have made their interest in signing him official to the BVB bosses.
The newspaper also says that Hertha Berlin is still Marius Wolf’s likeliest destination despite the fact that they did not take up the purchase option to make his transfer permanent. The Berliners are very interested in signing the versatile player permanently, and talks will take place between the two clubs in the foreseeable future.
There is also an update on Mahmoud Dahoud, who will likely fall further down the pecking order in Borussia Dortmund’s midfield following the imminent arrival of Jude Bellingham. RN add that Dahoud could be allowed to leave if the Black and Yellows receive the right offer.
However, Nico Schulz and Thomas Delaney are unlikely to leave this summer as Borussia Dortmund will be needing a deep squad to deal with next season’s tight schedule.
Felix Passlack and Dzenis Burnic will be allowed to leave, but if they cannot find a new club by July 30, they will begin pre-season training with Borussia Dortmund. The future of Sergio Gomez will be decided after he returns from his loan spell with SD Huesca in Spain.
Tobias Raschl, who made his Borussia Dortmund debut on the final day of last season, could be loaned out this summer in order for him to gain more playing experience.
