Jadon Sancho poker ‘picking up speed’: Manchester United want to pay transfer fee in three instalments

Manchester United reportedly want to pay the €120 million transfer fee for Jadon Sancho in three instalments, with an initial payment of €70 million.
Manchester United are very interested in signing Borussia Dortmund ace Jadon Sancho this summer. However, due to the coronavirus pandemic, they cannot afford to meet the Black and Yellows’ valuation of 120 million euros.
BILD claim with ‘information from English sources’ that the Premier League side will instead look to pay an initial fee of 70 million euros, with the remaining 50 million euros being paid over the next few years in two instalments of 30 million euros and 20 million euros.
BILD add that Borussia Dortmund ‘would not say no’ to a transfer fee of 120 million euros. The BVB bosses want Sancho’s future to be sorted before the team leaves for their pre-season training camp at Bad Ragaz, Switzerland on August 10. If Sancho is part of the traveling squad, he will stay at the club.
The winger has two years left on his current deal with Borussia Dortmund, and while the BVB bosses would love to keep him for another year, they know about his desire to play in the English Premier League. But they also know that they are under no pressure to sell the 20 year old this summer, and will only let him depart if their terms are met.
Manchester United are seemingly the only team left in the race for his signature at the moment. Although Kicker reported last week that Sancho would prefer to join Liverpool over Manchester United because of a greater chance of winning trophies.
