The start of the new season is right around the corner with Borussia Dortmund set to return to action this month.

Borussia Dortmund have one more pre-season game in September before their season officially starts on the 14th with the first round of the DFB Pokal. Dortmund have been far from their best recently and are also going through a bit of an injury crisis in defence. They have one more preparation friendly before the games actually start to count and with that we will likely see a very strong Dortmund lineup as they take on Sparta Rotterdam on September 7th, minus of course those on international duty.

MSV Duisburg vs Borussia Dortmund – 09/14/2020

Borussia Dortmund will face off against 3rd division side MSV Duidburg on September 14th in the first round of the DFB Pokal, their first competitive game of the new season. It will be an away game for Dortmund and they will need to come prepared to play.

Although they did beat Duisburg in an August friendly 5-1, it will hardly be the same game this time around. On top of that, the Black and Yellows haven’t been in great form as they round out their pre-season, failing to win any of their previous three games, all to inferior opponents.
