How Borussia Dortmund could line up this season with Erling Haaland and Jadon Sancho leading the line

Left Wing-Back: Raphael Guerreiro
Raphael Guerreiro cemented his status as one of Borussia Dortmund’s most important players with his exemplary performances in the second half of last season. He made it clear last month that he prefers to play as a wing-back with a three-chain defence behind him. And hopefully that is where we will see him line up this season.
Guerreiro’s versatility could potentially see him play further forward in case of injuries over the course of the season. But he is at his best when playing in the wing-back role, and if he can perform at the same level as he did last season, he could make a big difference for Borussia Dortmund.
The 26 year old had eight goals and five assists to his name last season, and kept big money summer signing Nico Schulz out of the side. Schulz’ cause wasn’t helped by injuries and poor performances. And unless he is sold in the next two months, the German international will be Guerreiro’s back-up for the upcoming season.
