Borussia Dortmund began their season with a 5-0 win over MSV Duisburg in the first round of the DFB Pokal.

Goals from Jadon Sancho, Jude Bellingham, Thorgan Hazard, Axel Witsel and Marco Reus gave Borussia Dortmund a resounding win over the third division side. It was one way traffic for the majority of the game, as the Black and Yellows enjoyed 76% of possession. And had it not been for the Duisburg goalkeeper making some superb saves, Lucien Favre’s side could have ended up with their goal tally in double figures.

Jadon Sancho and Jude Bellingham were excellent in the first half, before Marco Reus came on and marked his return to competitive action with an instant goal. It was a complete performance by Borussia Dortmund, which puts them in the hat for the second round of the DFB Pokal.

Here are our player ratings for the Borussia Dortmund players from their 5-0 win over MSV Duisburg.
