Jadon Sancho (8.5/10)

Sancho opened the scoring for Borussia Dortmund with a well struck penalty. He continued to take up dangerous positions in and around the box, causing a lot of problems to the Duisburg defenders. He created several openings for his teammates, and finally got a well deserved assist when he found Marco Reus inside the box with a well timed lobbed pass for Dortmund’s fifth goal.

Gio Reyna (7.5/10)

Reyna put in an impressive shift and came close on a number of occasions. He was denied by the Duisburg goalkeeper a couple of times. And when he did manage to beat him, his shot took a deflection off of Axel Witsel’s hip. It will end up being an assist for Reyna instead of a goal, but it was an impressive performance nonetheless.

Erling Haaland (6/10)

While his teammates enjoyed a goal glut, Haaland did not even get a single shot attempt today. The Norwegian international still put in great effort, and won both free-kicks which resulted in goals for Borussia Dortmund. Hopefully, he will get better service on Saturday.
