Expected Borussia Dortmund starting XI for Borussia Mönchengladbach clash
Forwards: Jadon Sancho, Erling Haaland, Gio Reyna
Jadon Sancho is coming off a great showing against Duisburg last week, grabbing a goal and an assist. After notching 17 goals and 17 assists in 32 Bundesliga games last season, Sancho will be looking to build on those numbers and it all starts against Gladbach. Sancho has the ability to take Dortmund to the next level this season if he is able to take another step forward.
Erling Haaland will take his normal spot up front for Dortmund. Haaland also has the potential to take Dortmund to the next level, with a full year instead of only half a season to make his presence felt. The 20 year old didn’t get much service on Monday, but will be aiming to open his account for the season against Gladbach.
Gio Reyna will take up the the third spot in the forward line. The American youngster has made a big impression on Lucien Favre, and after some impressive performances during his fledgling career, he looks set to be a regular this season.
