Borussia Dortmund are coming into this game on the back of a resounding 5-0 win against MSV Duisburg, a game which saw Jude Bellingham score his first goal for the club on his debut. The Black and Yellow finished second in the Bundesliga last season after some tough results towards the back end of the season but they will be raring to go, especially as it looks as though they are keeping hold of talisman Jadon Sancho and will have a firing Erling Haaland right from the beginning.

Borussia Mönchengladbach enjoyed an impressive 8-0 win over fifth tier side FC Oberneuland in the DFB-Pokal last weekend. The Foals finished fourth in the Bundesliga last season, qualifying for the Champions League, and they will be hoping to build on this season to try and break into the top three, especially after keeping hold of influential players in Florian Neuhaus, Alassane Plea and Marcus Thuram.
