Bundesliga Preview: Borussia Dortmund vs Borussia Mönchengladbach

Previous Meeting: Borussia Mönchengladbach 1-2 Borussia Dortmund
The previous meeting was a close affair between two sides who were both chasing Champions League spots as well as trying to catch Bayern Munich. Borussia Dortmund took the lead after only eight minutes when Haaland set up Thorgan Hazard to slot home after some fancy footwork and an excellent finish.
They took this lead into half-time, but not long after the restart, Gladbach hit back as long-serving captain Lars Stindl found room and equalised after a knock across goal from Plea found its way into his path.
Favre made a change in the second-half which saw Sancho enter the game to try and find a winner. In what was a tight, cagey game, the winner came through some good work from the England international, who found Achraf Hakimi with a through ball. And the wing back took advantage of a slip from goalkeeper Sommer to find the bottom corner and give Dortmund three vital points.
