Jadon Sancho (7.5/10)

Sancho may not have gotten a goal today, but it was still an impressive performance by him. He was a threat all game, popping up in dangerous positions and causing the Gladbach defenders all sorts of problems. He played a total of three key passes, and led the counter attack for Borussia Dortmund’s third goal before playing an excellent deft through ball for Erling Haaland. He also hit the woodwork with a header in the first half.

Erling Haaland (9/10)

Haaland opened his Bundesliga campaign with a second half brace. His first was a well struck penalty. His second showed his sheer determination as he sprinted across the length of the pitch on the counter attack before getting on the end of Sancho’s through ball and finishing past Yann Sommer.

Gio Reyna (8/10)

Reyna continued his incredible rise by scoring his first Bundesliga goal with an excellent finish from a very tight angle. His finish while being under pressure from a Gladbach defender showed great composure and confidence. Reyna also won a crucial penalty for his side in the second half, even though it was a bit soft. If that’s not all, he completed 100% of his passes.
