How to watch Borussia Dortmund vs Gladbach: Live Stream, TV Channel for Bundesliga match
Borussia Dortmund face Borussia Mönchengladbach on Saturday as they open their Bundesliga campaign at home.
Borussia Dortmund finally get their Bundesliga campaign underway on Saturday in the top game against Borussia Mönchengladbach. Gladbach promise to be a very tough opponent for the first match day and Dortmund will be looking to get started on the right foot. Dortmund are coming off a 5-0 thrashing of Duisburg in the first round on the DFB Pokal last week and will look to build off that momentum.
Gladbach is set to be one of the few teams to challenge Dortmund in the standings this season alongside the obvious Bayern and Leipzig. Picking up a positive result early on will be important in the battle for the top four this season.
Dortmund will be without several key players in this one, with Raphael Guerreiro looking unlikely to play still recovering from injury. Dan-Axel Zagadou is still out from his knee injury as well, meaning Dortmund will be missing two key parts of their defense. On the bright side, Marco Reus continues to pile on the game time and will feature in this one in one way or another.
Players to Watch
Coming off a big win Lucien Favre is not one to change too much in his squad. If that is going to be the case on Saturday we seem to be in line to see Jude Bellingham make his Bundesliga debut. Bellingham has been exceptional in his brief time with Dortmund and has given Favre no reason to believe he isn’t capable of handling the step up in competition. Gio Reyna also looks to be in line for a start in this one with Reus still working his way up to full fitness. Reyna is another player who had an exceptional pre-season and looks to be set to take another step forward this season.
