Borussia Dortmund 3-0 Borussia Mönchengladbach

Borussia Dortmund watched their title rivals thrash Schalke 8-0 on Friday night and responded with an impressive win themselves, winning 3-0 against Borussia Monchengladbach. Fans from all over the world have been eagerly waiting to see how the quartet of Jude Bellingham, Jadon Sancho, Erling Haaland and Gio Reyna would fare together and its fair to say they didn’t disappoint on the opening weekend.

It was the latter who broke the deadlock for Borussia Dortmund, scoring his first Bundesliga goal as he pulled away from his marker at the back-post and slotted beyond Yann Sommer.

The young American then went on to win a penalty in the second half, which Erling Haaland calmly slotted home. Borussia Dortmund then pushed on to get the third, again through Haaland, sealing a fantastic win over Gladbach.
