Borussia Dortmund take on FC Augsburg this Saturday looking to build off the momentum from their 3-0 win against Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Coming off a big 3-0 win against Borussia Mönchengladbach in their Bundesliga opener last weekend, Borussia Dortmund travel to Augsburg in search of another three points. Dortmund are set to receive some important defensive reinforcements with Raphael Guerreiro rejoining team training this week.

After Thorgan Hazard was ruled out for weeks, Dortmund getting their first choice wing-back back from injury is a big boost. Marco Reus could also be in line for more minutes as he continues his bid to get to full fitness.

Borussia Dortmund have started their season with back to back wins in the DFB Pokal and the Bundesliga against Duisburg and Gladbach. Both were pretty decisive with Lucien Favre’s side scoring 8 and conceding no goals in the two wins. It’s exactly the type of start Dortmund are looking for as they prepare to mount another title challenge this season against Bayern Munich. Gio Reyna has started his season off on the right foot, scoring his first ever Bundesliga goal while Erling Haaland picked up right where he left off last season scoring twice against Gladbach.

FC Augsburg have also won their first two games in the Pokal and Bundesliga, scoring 10 and conceding 1. They put three past Union Berlin in their Bundesliga opener last weekend with three different goal scorers, Ruben Vargas, Michael Gregoritsch and Andre Hahn. Augsburg will be looking to upset the heavy favorites in this one. They have pulled off some impressive upsets against Dortmund over the years, and will be tough to beat at home.
