Players to Watch

Coming off their big win against Gladbach, Borussia Dortmund will have several players to keep an eye on in this one. Erling Haaland wasted no time getting his scoring account started this season, notching two in his first game. Haaland is one of the most goal hungry players in all of football and will be looking to find the back of the net again in this one. Along with Haaland, Jadon Sancho is always one to watch. Although he didn’t blow the doors off the wall in the first game, there’s little reason to worry. It’s games like these against Augsburg when teams sit back that Sancho can be the difference maker.

Gio Reyna is fresh off his first Bundesliga goal and will be looking to continue to develop game by game. With Marco Reus currently still building back up his fitness, these are valuable minutes for Reyna to take advantage of when the competition is not as fierce for spots.

Daniel Caligiuri has a tendency to find the back of the net against Dortmund, having scored a number of key goals against the Black and Yellows during his Schalke days. He will certainly be one to watch for Augsburg. The danger man tasked with finishing chances for Augsburg will likely be Michael Gregoritsch though as he leads the line.
