Previous Meeting: Augsburg 3-5 Borussia Dortmund

The last time these two sides met was back in January, when Erling Haaland came off the bench to announce himself at Borussia Dortmund with an incredible second half hat-trick. Goals from Florian Niederlechner and Marco Richter gave Augsburg a two goal lead, before Julian Brandt swiftly pulled one back for the Black and Yellows.

Niederlechner got his second soon after to make it 3-1, which prompted Lucien Favre to call upon new signing Erling Haaland. The Norwegian striker went on to score a 20 minute hat-trick, as Borussia Dortmund turned the game on its head, with Jadon Sancho also scoring to seal an impressive 3-1 win.
