Expected Borussia Dortmund starting XI for Augsburg clash: Who will replace Thorgan Hazard?

Forwards: Gio Reyna, Jadon Sancho, Erling Haaland

Gio Reyna scored his first Bundesliga goal last weekend, and will be aiming to build on that against Augsburg. Like Bellingham, Reyna has been a revelation in this Dortmund team. And he will want to impress once again and keep Marco Reus and Julian Brandt out of the side.

Jadon Sancho will play in his free role behind the striker as he did to great effect last weekend. His 17 goals and 17 assists in the Bundesliga last season speak for themselves and if he is on his game on Saturday, Augsburg don’t stand much of a chance.

Last but not least, it will be Erling Haaland who leads the line once again for Borussia Dortmund. Fresh after scoring a brace against Gladbach, the Norwegian international returns to the scene of his Bundesliga debut, which saw him score a hat-trick.

Haaland has the ability to turn the game on its head and he will be important for the Black and Yellows’ title charge this season.
