Previous Meeting: Borussia Dormtund 0-1 Bayern Munich

The last time these two teams met was back in May, and Bayern got the better of Dortmund in a hard fought contest with a 1-0 win. Joshua Kimmich made the difference, catching Roman Bürki a little off his line with an exceptional chip.

This game had it’s fair share of controversy though as Dortmund were denied a clear penalty when Boatang blocked a Haaland shot with his elbow. It was a tough pill to swallow for Dortmund and their fans, robbed once again by the Bayern bonus.

The game all but decided the Bundesliga title in Bayern’s favour, and both teams will be aiming to get the first piece of silverware on offer in German football on Wednesday.
