Midfielders & Wing-backs: Thomas Meunier, Axel Witsel, Thomas Delaney, Raphael Guerreiro

Due to all of the injuries to the wing-backs, Lucien Favre will somewhat default to his two first team options in Thomas Meunier and Raphael Guerreiro. Meunier had a game to forget on Saturday and if he wants to keep his place in the first team, especially once Morey returns from injury, he has to perform much better.

It’s not very likely Favre go with Passlack in Meunier’s spot in a game against Bayern, although Piszczek could be given a look in if he is fully fit.

We will likely see some rotation in central midfield, with Thomas Delaney possibly getting his first start of the season in the game against Bayern. Bellingham has done incredibly well thus far, but he is still only 17, and in a game like this, Delaney could prove to be a useful weapon to have in midfield.

Favre will likely go with Axel Witsel alongside Delaney. Or we could also see Emre Can play in midfield, with Piszczek replacing him in the back three. It will be important for Borussia Dortmund to manage Axel Witsel’s fitness levels this season.
