Borussia Dortmund reject €80 million Jadon Sancho bid from Manchester United

Borussia Dortmund have rejected Manchester United’s opening bid of 80 million euros for Jadon Sancho, according to Sky Germany.
Jadon Sancho has been heavily linked with a move away from Borussia Dortmund in recent months, with Manchester United interested in signing him. The BVB bosses have been adamant that the forward will not be leaving the club in this transfer window after the Premier League side failed to meet their deadline of August 10.
Now, Sky Germany report that United have made an opening official bid of 80 million euros plus 20 million euros in performance related add-ons for Sancho. The offer was made on Tuesday, and was rejected by Borussia Dortmund. Sky Germany add that it is unknown whether United will return with another bid for the 20 year old.
Sancho has three years remaining on his Borussia Dortmund contract. Earlier on Tuesday, Funke Sport reported that he will not be sold in this window, even if Manchester United make a bid of 150 million euros.
The Black and Yellows are under no pressure to sell the Englishman, who has already made three appearances for the club this season. He is set to miss Wednesday’s DFL Supercup clash against Bayern Munich though, with respiratory problems.
With less than one week to go before the transfer window slams shut, there is no chance of those in charge at Borussia Dortmund changing their stance on Sancho. Manchester United are also said to be interested in signing Ousmane Dembele, with reports in Spain claiming that a move is close to completion.
