Thomas Meunier (4.5/10)

Meunier’s poor start to his Borussia Dortmund career continued, as he had a rough night on both ends of the pitch. He had a tough time against Alphonso Davies and Kingsley Coman defensively. While his crossing was off the mark once again. His worst moment, though, came just after the start of the second half, when he was played through on goal, but managed to fire his shot well over the bar.

Thomas Delaney (5.5/10)

Delaney got better as the game went on and added a solid presence to Borussia Dortmund’s midfield for the majority of the 90 minutes. He played Haaland in with a well weighted pass for the equaliser. But unfortunately for him, he went on to give the ball away before Bayern’s third goal, which marred a solid display.

Mahmoud Dahoud (7/10)

Dahoud was arguably Borussia Dortmund’s biggest attacking threat tonight, and was heavily involved in a lot of dangerous attacks. His decision making could have been better at times, including when Manuel Neuer gave the ball away in the 24th minute. But his risk taking certainly caused Bayern a lot of problems, and he would have had an assist to his name had Meunier not skied his effort in the 47th minute.

He looked tired towards the end, but hopefully he will get more game time in the coming weeks after his encouraging performance.

Felix Passlack (6/10)

Like Dahoud, Passlack looked like a threat going forward but was let down at times by his poor decision making and forward passing. He stood no chance in the duel against Thomas Müller for Bayern’s second goal, but defended largely well after that. After Meunier was subbed off, he switched over to the right side.
