Marco Reus (7/10)

While Reyna and Haaland stole the show, Reus quietly had a really good game. He made the first goal happen by pressing high up the pitch and winning the ball back before finding Reyna. He had a really good chance to score in the second half, but he just couldn’t head Jude Bellingham’s cross on to the target.

Gio Reyna (10/10)

Reyna was slated for his poor performance against Augsburg last weekend. But he showed his quality against Freiburg with a perfect attacking display. He ran the show for his side and was involved in nearly every Dortmund attack. He got three assists and could have easily had two more before being subbed off to a standing ovation from the Westfalenstadion faithful. If that’s not enough, the 17 year old also won an incredible 13 duels, made five tackles and drew three fouls.

Erling Haaland (9/10)

Haaland continued his impressive start to the season with two excellent finishes to take his Borussia Dortmund goal tally to 21 goals in just 23 appearances. He had a couple of chances to get his hat-trick, including one with the final kick of the game. But he decided to unselfishly pass the ball to Felix Passlack, who found the empty net to seal an emphatic win.
