SS Lazio vs Borussia Dortmund – October 20th (UEFA Champions League)

Borussia Dortmund will travel to Italy for their first UEFA Champions League game of the season just three days after their trip to Hoffenheim. Dortmund finally got a relatively favourable draw in the Champions League and shouldn’t have too much trouble making it out of the group stage. But there are no easy games in the Champions League, and they will still need to be at their best if they are to win the group.

With this game coming only three days after the game against Hoffenheim, we could see Lucien Favre rotate his squad, testing Dortmund’s depth.

We will come up against former Borussia Dortmund striker Ciro Immobile, who will have a point to prove. While Immobile really didn’t have much success during his time in Dortmund, he has been sensational since moving back to Italy. Mats Hummels and co. will need to keep Immobile in control in order to win this game.
