Borussia Dortmund will hold firm on their stance regarding Jadon Sancho in the winter transfer window, with the Englishman not for sale at any price.

Manchester United were interested in signing Jadon Sancho in the summer transfer window. But after a long drawn saga which dominated the media coverage in England, the 20 year old is still a Borussia Dortmund player. And the BVB bosses have no plans to sell him in January either, with BILD reporting that they will rebuff any potential offers of even 120 million euros in the winter transfer window.

Sancho has three years remaining on his Borussia Dortmund contract, and those in charge at the club are adamant that he will stay on for at least another season. They were open to a sale early in the recently concluded transfer window. But after Manchester United failed to meet their asking price of 120 million euros before August 10, Dortmund made the decision not to sell him.

Sancho has made three appearances for the Black and Yellows so far this season, and has one goal and two assists to his name. He is currently away on international duty with England, and will likely return to the Borussia Dortmund squad for this weekend’s Bundesliga fixture against TSG Hoffenheim.

The Athletic reported earlier this month that Manchester United never came close to meeting Borussia Dortmund’s asking price of 120 million euros during their hopeless pursuit of Sancho. The forward never pushed for a move either, and felt undervalued with the way the Premier League side approached the whole saga.
