Borussia Dortmund travel to Hoffenheim on Saturday as they look to get on a winning run going into a busy period of fixtures.

Borussia Dortmund have started their Bundesliga campaign with two wins and a defeat, and currently sit fifth in the Bundesliga table, but are only a point behind league leaders RB Leipzig after strong starts by numerous teams in the league.

After a long international break, the Bundesliga finally makes its return this weekend, and Borussia Dortmund go up against TSG Hoffenheim. Dortmund haven’t beaten the Sinsheim based team since 2017, but anything other than a win on Saturday will be a disappointing result for them.

Lucien Favre will not be able to count on centre-back duo Manuel Akanji (COVID-19) and Dan Axel Zagadou (knee), while Nico Schulz and Thorgan Hazard (both hamstring) are also out, as is Marcel Schmelzer (knee). But Jadon Sancho could return to the side, having missed the last two games.

Here we take a look at the potential lineup Borussia Dortmund could field against Hoffenheim.

Goalkeeper: Roman Bürki

Bürki will take his place in goal after missing the last two games through a respiratory infection. Hitz did a fairly decent job in his absence, but Bürki is Dortmund’s first choice goalkeeper, and will always start when fit.
