Players to Watch

Erling Haaland has enjoyed an impressive start to the new season for both club and country. After coming off the bench and providing the match-winning assist against Hoffenheim, the Norwegian striker is set to return to the starting line-up against Lazio. And he will be aiming to mark his Champions League group stage debut for Borussia Dortmund with a goal.

With Borussia Dortmund facing a bit of a crisis in terms of defensive personnel, Mats Hummels will have to be at his very best once again on Tuesday evening. The Borussia Dortmund vice-captain has enjoyed an impressive start to the season, and faces another tough test as he goes up against former teammate Ciro Immobile.

Speaking of Ciro Immobile, the Lazio frontman will be determined to show his quality against his former employers. The Italian international has scored just one goal so far this season, but if his goal tally from last season is anything to go by, he could cause a lot of problems to the beleaguered Borussia Dortmund defence.

Box to box midfielder Sergej Milinković-Savić is another player Borussia Dortmund will have to be wary of. The Serbian international is strong on both ends of the pitch, and likes to get forward with the ball at his feet. He is capable of both creating chances and scoring important goals, as Erling Haaland found out earlier this month.
