Jadon Sancho (4.5/10)

Sancho was anonymous for large parts of the game and seemed to be lacking the desire and effort that we saw last season. He was more involved after the second half, but his final shot/pass often let him and the team down. He did come close to scoring with a looping header late on.

Marco Reus (4.5/10)

Like Sancho, Reus too had a night off as he failed to make much of an impact on Borussia Dortmund’s attacking play. He was replaced by Reinier with 12 minutes to go in the game.

Erling Haaland (7/10)

Haaland pulled a goal back for Borussia Dortmund with a thumping finish, and was denied Thomas Strakosha on a couple of occasions. He was the only Dortmund forward who actually looked like causing Lazio any sorts of problems.
