Youssoufa Moukoko continued his incredible goalscoring streak as his four goal haul helped Borussia Dortmund U-19s thrash RW Essen 6-0.
Borussia Dortmund U-19s faced RW Essen on Saturday morning as they looked to continue their perfect start to the A-Junioren Bundesliga West. And Youssoufa Moukoko led the way once again, as he netted four goals to give Mike Tullberg’s side an emphatic 6-0 victory.
The highly rated striker opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 20th minute, before Ansgar Knauff doubled the Black and Yellows’ advantage just before half time. Moukoko then added a third in the 72nd minute, before completing his hat-trick soon after. Bradley Fink found the net to make it 5-0, and Moukoko completed the scoring to make it five wins out of five for Borussia Dortmund U-19s.
The four goals helped Moukoko make it four hat-tricks in as many games for the U-19s, taking his tally for the season to an incredible 13 goals in just four games. The 15 year old took a knee and raised his first after scoring his first goal in a stance against racism. He was subject to racist abuse and chants from Schalke supporters after scoring during last weekend’s 3-2 derby win.
Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, who joined Borussia Dortmund from Manchester City in the summer, came off the bench and looked promising in the second half.
Moukoko is now less than one month away from being eligible to play for the first team, and he could make his professional debut in the Bundesliga clash against Hertha Berlin on November 21.
