Borussia Dortmund have their first home game in the Champions League against Zenit on Wednesday, and they cannot afford another defeat.

Borussia Dortmund didn’t get started on the right foot in the Champions League, losing 3-1 to Lazio in their group stage opener last week. They have a chance to rebound against Zenit on Wednesday in a game they can’t afford to lose. The good news is Dortmund have a great record at home in the Champions League and should be confident coming off their 3-0 win against Schalke at the weekend.

Borussia Dortmund will still be without Dan-Axel Zagadou who remains sidelined with his knee injury. Emre Can is also out after testing positive for COVID-19.

Here is a look at how Borussia Dortmund could line up.

Goalkeeper: Roman Burki

Roman Burki made his return to the Dortmund starting XI against Schalke and posted another clean sheet. After missing a few games through illness he seems to be back to full fitness and back in his normal spot in the starting XI.
