His steel and ability to protect the back four from midfield have been crucial for Sergei Semak’s side. Barrios likes to get into duels and break up play. And he will likely be tasked with stopping the flow of supply to Erling Haaland on Wednesday.
He is also capable of orchestrating Zenit’s build-up play, and that is something Reus, as well as the other Borussia Dortmund midfielders, will have to be mindful of.
