Mats Hummels scored a second half brace to give Borussia Dortmund a comfortable 2-0 win over Arminia Bielefeld.

Much like we saw against Schalke 04 and Zenit St. Petersburg, Borussia Dortmund were the dominant team for the majority of the game, but had to wait until the second half for their breakthrough. With Erling Haaland missing the game through a knee injury, it was Mats Hummels who stepped up, giving the Black and Yellows a vital win over the newly promoted Arminia Bielefeld with his two goals.

The centre-back found himself in the right place at the right time to tap Jadon Sancho‘s corner into the back of the net, before heading home Marco Reus‘ cross to seal the three points in the 71st minute.

Here are our player ratings for the Borussia Dortmund players from their 2-0 win away to Arminia Bielefeld.

Roman Bürki (6/10)

Bürki had another quiet afternoon, and was only tested once. It was a very routine save for the Swiss shot-stopper, who made it three clean sheets out of three since his return.
