November 04: Away to Club Brugge (Champions League)

Borussia Dortmund begin November with a trip to Belgium to take on Club Brugge. The two sides last met two seasons ago, and the Black and Yellows enjoyed a 1-0 win courtesy of a scrappy Christian Pulisic winner that he knew very little about. The reverse fixture at the Signal Iduna Park was a 0-0 draw, and Dortmund will know that they cannot afford to take the Belgian champions lightly.

Club Brugge haven’t made the best of starts to the Belgian Pro League, but currently lie second in their Champions League group, one point clear of Borussia Dortmund. They have a number of fine attacking talents in their squad and they could cause Dortmund a lot of problems, especially with Mats Hummels likely to miss the game through injury.

Winning away from home in the Champions League is never easy, but if Borussia Dortmund can get a good result in Brugge, they will be in a solid position half way through the Champions League group stage.
