First-half goals from Thorgan Hazard and Erling Haaland (x2) helped Borussia Dortmund cruise to a 3-0 win over Club Brugge in the Champions League.

Borussia Dortmund started well and took the lead in just the 14th minute through Thorgan Hazard. The Belgian international opened his account in the UEFA Champions League after Thomas Delaney’s cross was parried away by the goalkeeper.

Erling Haaland doubled the Black and Yellows’ advantage soon after, slotting the rebound into the net after his initial effort was saved. The Norwegian international then added his second at the half hour mark after some good work by Mahmoud Dahoud and Thomas Meunier.

Borussia Dortmund were happy to rest on their laurels after the break, and in the end, they enjoyed a comfortable 3-0 win in Bruges. The win takes Lucien Favre’s side to the top of Group F, a point clear of Lazio, who were held to a 1-1 draw by Zenit.

Here are our player ratings for the Borussia Dortmund players from their 3-0 win away to Club Brugge.

Roman Bürki (6.5/10)

Bürki had a much busier night than he did in the last three games combined. He was called into action four times, although all the saves he had to make were routine ones.
