Thomas Delaney (7.5/10)

Delaney had another solid game in the defensive midfield role. He kept things tidy and made some strong clearances, breaking up a number of counter attacks. But he also played a vital role in the build-up play, and his dangerous cross led to Borussia Dortmund’s opener.

Mahmoud Dahoud (8/10)

Dahoud continued his excellent run of form with another influential performance in midfield. The German international ran the strings in the first half, and made the third goal happen with his well weighted over the top pass to Thomas Meunier. He completed nearly 95% of his passes, which is incredible considering the risks he takes in possession.

This Dahoud-Delaney partnership in midfield is really blossoming for Borussia Dortmund at the moment, and based on form, they should be starting against Bayern Munich.
