The final international break of the calendar year is upon us, and the Bundesliga will take a break for the next two weeks. As many as 15 Borussia Dortmund players could be in action for their respective countries in the coming days.

The headline call-up is, of course, Gio Reyna, who has been called up to the United States squad for their upcoming friendlies against Wales and Panama. The Borussia Dortmund attacking midfielder could become a USMNT international a day before his 18th birthday this week.

Manuel Akanji has been called up by Switzerland for their games against Belgium, Spain and Ukraine. While Thomas Delaney will be with Denmark for their fixtures against Sweden, Iceland and Belgium.

In the same Nations League group, England duo Jadon Sancho and Jude Bellingham face a friendly against Ireland, before concluding their Nations League campaign against Belgium and Iceland. Bellingham has earned his first call-up to the senior team and could become the third youngest player to represent the Three Lions.

Erling Haaland has been named in Norway’s squad for their clashes against Israel, Romania and Austria. And Raphael Guerreiro will take on Andorra, France and Croatia with Portugal.
