Marius Wolf – FC Köln

Marius Wolf joined FC Köln on loan this summer, but hasn’t been able to help stop their slide just yet. The versatile forward has played 90 minutes in each of the Billy Goats’ last four games. He started the first two games at right wing, but has since been switched to a more defensive role at right back.

Wolf has yet to get his first goal or assist for FC Köln, but did give away a penalty in the 2-1 defeat to Bayern Munich two weeks ago.

FC Köln have yet to register their first win of the season and are currently in 16th place in the Bundesliga standings. And while their position certainly isn’t ideal, the fact that Wolf is getting regular playing time is certainly good news for him. Hopefully, he can lead the way for Markus Gisdol’s side in the coming weeks as they look to stave off relegation this season.
